Description
ROCKFOXX kinetic rope 6 meters long with a breaking load of 10 tons.
Designed to absorb high forces and convert them into kinetic energy. This is the principle of a kinetic tow or recovery rope.
The elasticity in the material causes the rope to expand by approx. 30% and thus cushions the powerful recoils during recovery and uses this force to pull the vehicle gently and effectively out of the danger zone.
The expansion of the rope also reduces the stresses and rope vibrations on the attachment points on the vehicles involved and reduces the risk of components being damaged or completely torn off and suddenly whirled through the air during jerky towing movements.
Belt protectors are fitted to reduce wear at the ends of the loops, where the most force and friction is generated.
